Dave Almeida

Dave has been passionate about training and fitness for many years, allowing him to build up an encyclopedic knowledge of strength, hypertrophy and fitness methods. Dave progressed over the years until he fell seriously ill for a year and dropped from 70kg (11 stone) to a skeletal 52kg (7.5 stone). “I had been building up my strength so it was upsetting to see it fall off so quickly”. He vowed that when he got better he would get into even better shape than before. “When I stepped back in the gym I was seriously starting again from scratch. It was a bit embarrassing at first as I could barely lift anything”. Now weighing in at 77 kg (12 stone) he has beaten all his previous personal bests.


Dave is hungry for as much information on different training methods as possible. “A day doesn’t go by when I’m not reading about new training techniques. You’ve got to be passionate about what you do”. His current favourite training methods include Tabata, Boxing, Cardio Acceleration, HIIT and Kettlebells.

Dave’s sessions are different from other trainers in that his sessions are designed to be fun but also effective. “Getting clients to enjoy sessions is very important to me. If they enjoy it they are more likely to reach their goals.”
